Industry specific
If you wanted to work in the I.T industry, the most
important qualification an employee would need to have would be in technical
knowledge because they would need to be able to know about all the technical
things. Employees would need health and safety knowledge so they don't get
electrocuted or if anything happens with the equipment. Also the employee's
would need to know the working procedures so they know everything what would
need to be done.
General
Employees would have to have interpersonal skills so they
can easily talk to people, one on one, to give them advice and help them
individually. The employee's would have to be able to clearly explain to the
customers how to work computers and technology like that. Also if the customers
had any questions or theories about the product the employee's would have to be
able to answer them straight away.
Attitudes
An employee would have to have confidence when working in
the i.t industry because they would have many customers wanting to ask
questions before buying the products and the employee would have to have the
confidence to speak to every one of them. They have to have self-motivation so
they will be motivated to do things and that would also help others get
motivated.
